'Beautiful Villa with Stunning Views, Perfect for Family'
A wonderful villa, spacious and beautiful. Gorgeous pool and outside spaces too with stunning views. Perfect for us and our 3 boys. Little shop at the bottom of the hill with great bakery, and local beach lovely too (though tiny) for snorkelling. Owners very helpful. Our favourite thing was to hire a boat and explore the little coves and bays.

'Stunning Villa with the most Amazing Views'
This villa looks beautiful in the photos but it's even better in reality. The photos can't really capture the panoramic views , we never tired of just sitting on any one of the several balconies enjoying a view of the sea.
The villa itself is very well equipped and spacious. We are a family of 6 adults and everybody felt like they could enjoy their own space.
The north east coast of Corfu is scenic and unspoilt and the villa is conveniently located close to beaches and tavernas and good service at the nearby supermarket. The local taverna, Vitamins, offers a friendly welcome, good food and even a lift back to the villa!! The daily visits from the housekeeper were definitely an added bonus , she was superb! A wonderful holiday all round and we hope to return again.

'Stunning Villa with Amazing Views'
The villa is well presented with a beautiful pool. The views, being that you are half way up a mountain were certainly impressive. Rena the maid was friendly and you mostly didn't know she was there. Definitely need a car but driving around was easy. Plenty of places to eat around at reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

'A Very Attractive & Well Maintained Villa with marvelous Views Across the Bay to Corfu Town'
A well designed villa which is tastefully furnished and decorated. A top class modern kitchen which is well equipped. Plenty of outside spaces and a lovely looking pool although a bit cold in May (no problem in the summer)! Panoramic and unobstructed views. Close to a good supermarket and a number of very good restaurants. There is daily maid service which is excellent, Rena is extremely diligent and hard working. Good parking for two smaller vehicles or one larger one, important as I would say a car is vital.A great choice for up to six adults or a family with older children. Rather too many steps about for very young children.

'A Holiday to Remember'
The Villa is palatial and occupies a very envious position on the hillside. It has the most fantastic views, both day and night. It was spacious in and out. We went with the family and was able to relax and unwind with kids having a great time in the infinity pool. There are several beaches and restaurants all with a 10-15 drive. Looking forward to going back...

'Breathtaking'
Breathtaking is the only way to describe the amazing panoramic view from this beautiful villa perched on the side of a mountain and overlooking the straits to Albania with Corfu Town in the distance. And when we got over the view the delights of the house were slowly revealed as we explored. Attention to detail has been paid in every room - every comfort you could possibly want has been provided in this stylish and spacious villa. Even six of us had plenty of space indoors and out. We loved the terraces with the fabulous view and the chilling-out area in the shade with comfy sofas and chairs - a great place for a quiet read. And our after-dark barbecues were a huge success on the romantically lit terrace by the floodlit pool. And even when the place looked a tip as we went to bed tired but happy, as if by magic the next morning all was put right again by the wonderful lady who looks after the house. The local tavernas and beaches are a joy. We especially enjoyed the simple food provided by Agatha at the Mitsos taverna overlooking the most beautiful little cove where dipping in and out of the water between courses was easy. There we also hired a boat for the day from Fondas and had a great time exploring the coast, sometimes stopping in a pretty bay for a swim and mooring at Agni Taverna for a fabulous upmarket meal there.
We can't recommend this lovely place highly enough. We've already booked to stay here again next year.

'Stunning - Corfu at it's Best'
Wow. A quite simply stunning villa. We'd been looking for somewhere idyllic for our family holiday and this didn't disappoint.
Think Mamma Mia in terms of the surrounding area, all the charm of the Greece, steeped in history with amenities on your doorstep. It was easily accessible and stunning views. It was peaceful and relaxed - and luxury all the way. Set on the side of mountain, it certainly had the very best of both worlds, beautiful sea views and the cooling breeze from the hills (always helpful in such a warm climate).
Just a short drive to a selection of beaches and tavernas, (we loved Vitamins) and just 20 minutes drive into Corfu town, the villa is well located.
The pool is beautiful and we spent many an afternoon with a glass of wine absorbing the view from the comfort of the lilo!
The owners (Dianne and David) were incredibly helpful. They provided really detailed information along with some helpful hints and tips that only the locals would know.
The property is immaculate, the cleaner came, without fail, every day, with the linen changed regularly.
We have already booked a fortnight for next year!

'Sun, Pool & Amazing Views'
Just booked this Villa again for next year after spending three weeks in the summer. An absolute gem of a villa on Corfu island. The open plan kitchen and dining area is a great size and provided ample space our family. Then you step out onto a spacious balcony off the kitchen...BLISS. The view across the bay and over to Corfu town is quite simply stunning and we enjoyed nothing more than sitting out there in the morning sunshine eating breakfast and watching the boats go by (and the occasional pod of dolphins). Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and great outdoor space - including a gorgeous infinity pool that the kids absolutely loved - all add up to a great property that we cannot wait to get back to next year. Bring on the summer.

'Excellent'
As a repeat visitor to villa amphithea l am putting my comments on owners direct web site because l feel anyone considering staying in a villa in the best part of Corfu may be helped making a decision by favourable comments.
The villa is beautiful from its situation overlooking Corfu bay to the villa itself with the accommodation having a state of the art kitchen equipped with everything a family would need to the beautiful colour co-ordinated bedrooms. There are terraces on all levels with the infinity pool on a huge area with al-fresco dining facilities.
Within a short distance are beaches and excellent tavernas, all very family friendly. All in all a villa holiday destined not to disappoint.
