An absolutely stunning property in the most beautiful location. The house was beyond our imagination. Corfu is one of the best places I’ve ever visited. We watched the sunrise every morning. Prestige were very responsive and we’re always on hand to answer any questions. The house is situated high up in the hills with incredible views, but the hills are steep to drive. Not a put off for us, but worth a mention. We walked down to Agni bay each morning for sunrise swims. The surrounding area is breath taking. The beds were very comfortable and decor were so beautiful and homely. Would recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

Für alle die Interesse haben vielleicht noch die Info, dass die Beschreibung der Bäder nicht ganz richtig ist. Jedes der 3 Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit WC und Dusche.

An absolutely stunning villa with breathtaking views. Our family of 5 ( children aged 18-24) had a wonderful time at villa Artemis. The villa is spacious, very comfortable and beautifully furnished - we couldn't quite believe our eyes when we walked through the front door! The outside space is equally impressive with several seating areas, a beautiful infinity pool and spectacular views of Agni bay , Albania and Corfu town. I especially loved watching the sun rise every morning. The area has lots to offer with many beautiful beaches and tavernas nearby. We hired a boat for a day and also visited Corfu town. The villa is very private but the roads leading up to it are quite windy and steep so we were grateful to have an automatic rental car. I can highly recommend this villa and we are already planning a return visit.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The location is perfect in the best part of Corfu. The area has an abundance of beautiful coves with crystal clear water best explored by boat. We hired a boat from Durrell’s White House in Kalami. Nikko’s market in Kassiopi has fresh lamb, burgers, and chicken skewers for grilling. The view from the villa is mesmerizing especially at sunrise. We enjoyed the company of the resident cat Lucy and her two kittens that we named Salt (male tabby) and Pepper (female black). Prestige Villas were so hospitable and professional throughout. Five stars!

'Stunning Views & Outside Areas - Inside OK'
The views from the Villa are gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. Outer area (pool, terraces) very nicely equipped and decorated. That is what you pay for. Location is good, too. Most sights / landscapes are in der northern part of Corfu and can be reached within 40-50min drive. Same time it takes you to the capital.
The last mile up top the Villa can be a challenge (narrow road and steep curves).
Inside we felt the equipment could be better given the price (bed in the master bedroom very soft; mixed china in the kitchen). Service from Prestige Villas is very good. The coffee machine was broken upon our arrival - it was replaced within a day by the office.

'Fantastic Villa Holiday'
We are a family of two teens, Mum and Dad and had a really fabulous holiday in Villa Artemis. The Villa is very private, although there is a villa next door they are secluded from one another.
We are in full agreement with all the other reviews the pool and view and breathtaking. The outdoor areas are lovely. There are shady areas and sunny areas all day long so something for everyone and it is so easy to just hang out in the villa reading, swimming and maybe a nice drinkie!
The villa interior is also super. It is very spacious and well equiped. The air conditioning works a treat.

'A Memorable Family Holiday!'
Villa Artemis is an exceptional property with fabulous views and a superb swimming pool, overlooking the beautiful Agni bay. We area a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and we’ve just spent 9 memorable days here. The weather has been very hot so we’ve enjoyed lots of time cooling off in the gorgeous swimming pool or in the sea at one of the many local bays. You can walk down from the villa to Agni bay (or drive and park) where there is a delightful pebble beach, beautiful clear water and 3 tavernas - it’s a very steep climb back, and you need to be fit, but the walk is very enjoyable. We spent a lot of time at the villa as the views and the pool are just so fabulous but there are many days out you could have from here, most of which are within a 40 minute drive. A hire car from the airport is essential as the villa is about 1.5km up a steep hill from the main road and the local shops are not within walking distance. The villa is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The three bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms and all rooms in the property have air conditioning (essential in August!). The outside area has plenty of tables, chairs and sun loungers strategically placed for sun or shade and there is also a bbq area. The balcony off the living room and master bedroom also has seating - great for watching the sunrise or enjoying an evening drink. All communications with Pretige villas were excellent and we would highly recommend this property.

'Großzügige Villa mit toller Aussicht - Spacious villa with great views'
Translation:
We were received very friendly, although we arrived earlier than announced at the house. The agency is very helpful and was also easy to reach when we had problems with the dishwasher and hot water and immediately sent a technician. Unfortunately, the weather did not play that way and it was a bit cold in the house. A little helped the air conditioning, we should use, since the heating was probably not in operation, but the room on the ground floor has been very cool, which is certainly beneficial in the heat. When the sun was shining, the view was just great and you can relax, since there are enough pool chairs available. The pool was clean, but cold. Wi-Fi worked well. It was now (April) preseason and many restaurants and shops were still closed, which was not a problem for us. In terms of weather conditions, we would rather fly to Corfu in the summer.
-----Our Response
Thank you so much for your positive review.
We completely understand that the terrible weather conditions you experience really did detract from the enjoyment of your stay.

We do hope next time to see you all again in the warm sunshine!!

Wonderful villa, pool and spectacular view. Very easy booking with excellent communication from very friendly staff. Corfu is a beautiful green island with many coves, beaches with superb water sports and the sea resembles a warm bath ! You are spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants all serving great food (especially the local dishes). Staff are friendly and happy enough for you to spend the whole night soaking up the views and atmosphere. I'd recommend hiring a speedboat and spend the day travelling up and down the coast and then pulling in to a cove for lunch. We'll be going back hopefully.

Wow what a stunning location for such a stunning house. We spent the most wonderful week enjoying the amazing swimming pool with the best panoramic view right down to Agni Bay. The drive from the main road to the villa is not for the faint-hearted and we would recommend a small 4X4. We found the footpath from Kentroma right on to the beach at Agni Bay. Walking down was fine but you have to be fit and have lots of water for the steep climb back. None of us wanted to leave and we all want to return next year.

'Magnificent Views - Excellent Villa'
We went to this villa with a family of 6 in August 2017. The view from the terrace and the pool was amazing, it is the best view you will get on Corfu, and we enjoyed the endless view and the continuous activity of boats, ferries that come and go. The house is well maintained, clean and well equipped. From the villa you can visit a number of beautiful little bays in North-East Corfu. We also rented a motor boat at Agni bay to go to beaches and tavernas in the neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the great pool, we had very nice dinners and barbecue at the terrace. You need a car as it is in a remote area. The managers were very helpful and responded quickly (we had some issues with water supply). In conclusion: this a very nice place and wonderful house to stay for a family of 5 or 6, we highly recommend this beautiful villa.

'Two weeks of paradise with views to die for!!!'
We stayed here for two weeks, the moment we arrived we were wowed by the views of which we never got tired of looking at for all our stay. We stayed for two weeks and the weather was so hot. The whole booking process was so easy, Jane was really helpful and answered any questions we had. She also help arrange car hire. We booked a nine seater mini van for our family. Access roads to the villa were steep and tight and were difficult, anything bigger would have struggled. But once at the villa they are worth the drive. Car hire for staying at the villa is a must as nothing really is in walking distance.
The villa was kitted out with everything we could need, but with the outside views we spent very little time inside. The villa could have been cleaned to a higher standard with some dust and items under beds and sofas, apart from this we had no complaints. The outside area was great, with plenty of sun loungers, the villa had sunshine or shaded area's all day. So everyone was happy. There was also a very friendly cat who lived around the villa who was there everyday. The pool was amazing and a welcome break from the heat. We had an issue with the pools pump, but a quick call to Jane and it was addressed straight away.
For eating out, we ate out every night. We never had a bad meal were ever we went. Down at the bay we went to Agni Taverna which was really nice, it was higher price wise but a really nice meal with nice views. Also down at the bay we loved Nikolas Taverna, the food here was amazing and well priced. Corfu is a amazing island, we took a boat hire for a few hours from the local bay at Agni, We had a great time out on the waves for a few hours and got round to some amazing quiet bay, we were really disappointed when we returned and got hit for a big fuel bill, despite only have the boat for a few hours. The only issue we had was the whole island was plagued with wasps at the time of our visit, this might have been the hot weather and the time of year. Overall the stay at the villa was amazing and we were really sad to leave.
The level of service from Jane and her team were amazing. If you want some amazing time chilling away from all the hussle and bussle then this villa is perfect.
-----Our Response
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an informative review. Great to hear you enjoyed your stay and you were pleased with our service. The only disappointment for me is the cleaning aspect and I will speak to Jo the Housekeeper about this. Huge thanks again and hope it's not too long before you're back! Jane & The Team

'A View to Savour'
This was our first visit to Corfu and definitely not our last. Lawrence Durrell described it as '"this brilliant little speck of an island in the Ionian," and the incredible view out to sea, with Albania in the distance and endless cypress trees, is just wonderful from this spacious and well designed villa.
We had a few minor teething problems with the villa but Jane and the team responded very quickly and professionally to resolve them promptly and could not have been more helpful. Having stayed at the beginning of April, weather can be unpredictable ( two days of solid rain, which explains Corfu's anglophile greenery), although we had plenty of warm sun too. We managed to hire a boat from SoTiris in Agios Stephanos, who was friendly and very proud of his 'fleet' and the boat was superb for a trip down the coast to Nissaki. We'd recommend 'Tavernaki' in Kassiopi too for a reasonably priced and beautifully prepared meal. We'd say you need a car - and the first gear will get plenty of use on the hills up to the villa - but the hairpin bends do force you to slow down...the villa has all you need if you want to just relax and stare endlessly at the view all day(you will), being well equipped, with I would say an exceptional outside area that is one of the best we've had.
Corfu Town is around 45 minutes drive away - a beautiful town, reminiscent of Italy - with all the buzz you'd want. And if you don't want buzz, walk out of the villa, down the hill and turn left to follow the mountain road, until you can view the sea and feel the incredible peace and tranquillity, as you walk past rows of olive groves and spring flowers.

'Breathtaking Views'
Artemis is a well appointed villa set up high on the hill above Agni Bay with breathtaking views. We would certainly book again as we enjoyed our stay here and for a family of 4 it is very comfortable. Artemis could accommodate 6 easily. Directions to the villa were good and Prestige looked after us well. Hire car was an old jalopi but we enjoyed travelling around the island in a convertible. We went to so many tavernas but our 3 favourites were Agnabri up in the hills near Spartillas, Fagopotion in Stefanos, and we also liked Taverna Kaloura. I love swimming in the sea and am well used to bracing water being brought up on holidays in Pembs. We went out of season (hence coldish water) and so all the beach tavernas were closed. We will return to Corfu very soon I hope to get the in-season experience. One thought would be that driving around this stretch of the coast is not a good idea for nervous drivers.

'Villa Artemis'
We travelled to Corfu for one week in late August, This was the first time in the island for our family of two adults and two children age 10 and 7. The description of the property in the website accurately describes what you will find: a beautiful villa with stunning views of the bay of Corfu, well presented, clean and with all the necessary facilities to enjoy a summer holiday. We checked numerous Villas before making our mind up and we had numerous questions about the area, how to get there, supermarkets, places to visit, etc. Jane responded timely and accurately to our questions and made our booking process easy and straightforward. I was reassured about her knowledge of the area and the quality and accuracy of her very useful advice. The arrival to Corfu Airport and our trip from the airport to Villa Artemis was clearly easier thanks both to the very useful directions guide provided by Jane and her team and also to the pre-booked meet-and greet option that Jane provided to pick our car. If you take this option, you will not have top queue by the car rental desk. In our case Yannis, a delightful and immensely helpful car rental company owner was waiting at the arrivals terminal with our name, and all we had to do was quickly sign the rental agreement, give our details and pay for the rental, that was very reasonable. Yannis took us to the car himself and gave us his number for any eventual problem, that hopefully we did not encounter. On arrival to the Villa, we were impressed because we found that Villa Artemis is a beautiful, well maintained and with a lovely infinity swimming pool in a fantastic location, quiet but close to supermarkets, beaches, and a very useful pharmacy. Our stay was spent exploring the island and eating beautiful greek food in the miriad of tavernas that pepper the island. Our favourite beach in the area was Kaminaki and we loved Spiro's taverna (Kati Thavres) there. We had a couple of blips during our stay in the house with the air conditioning, supply of water and the TV, but all of these were addressed promptly and sorted out as soon as we phoned Jane, who was always and able, affable and available Villa manager. We had a lovely holiday at Villa Artemis, Thoroughly recommend it and we have already booked again for next year!

'Family Holiday - Villa Artemis'
Villa Artemis is a sublime facility, perfectly situated for access to Agni Bay, it's neighbour Kalami Beach and a short drive to Ipsos. This modern villa has 3 well-proportioned bedrooms, each with an ensuite facility. The main living area is spacious with glorious views over the sea. The well equipped kitchen is more than adequate for a group, up to 6 adults. The pool and outside areas are superb - we made full use of the outside dining and BBQ area.
The villa is ideally located to explore the northern half of Corfu - virtually everywhere is within 45 minutes’ drive. We elected to book our hire-car through the "partner" company Prestige Cars; although the original car failed on the first day (clutch), we received a replacement car within a couple of hours. In terms of local attractions, the proximity of Agni Bay with its 3 excellent Tavernas is a major plus. Kassiopi and Ipsos, which both offer more “lively” alternatives, are only 15-20 minutes’ drive away.
The booking process was simple and well-orchestrated. The description of the facilities listed is accurate - there is everything a family would need (note my children are adults now). On that basis, I would absolutely recommend this beautiful villa and the company that offers it. Although we had an excellent holiday, and would return without hesitation, there are a couple of points that need to be noted and, where possible, addressed:
• The road approaching the villa is steep with 2 or 3 very tight hair-pin bends – bear this in mind when ordering your hire-car.
• We were advised to bring mosquito repellent – we did and the mosquito’s played no significant role. However, there is currently a wasp nest somewhere near the pool area; the wasps became increasingly annoying during our stay. This needs to be fixed.
• And finally, the downstairs (3rd) bedroom has no air conditioning – I cannot understand why as the other bedrooms are. In the summer months this is unwelcome.
Our Reply: The Villa now has AC in all three bedrooms!!

'Stunning'
What a gorgeous place to stay.
Six of us arrived on the evening flight into Corfu town, picked up our hire cars (don't get too large a car) and drove the 40 mins to the villa relishing in the warm evening air (a good sign of the weather to come). Upon arrival we were not disappointed, the villa is immaculate inside with a contemporary feel and what we would consider to be very high standard furnishings and fittings.
Waking the next morning we could not have asked for a more spectacular view, you can see straight across to Albania, the sun was shining and the mercury was pushing the mid 30s before 09:00 - The hillside is full of Cyrpus trees (who thought Corfu would be so green) it felt very special eating our breakfast on the balcony surrounded by such stunning scenery.
The outdoor space is more than adequate with terraces front and rear of the villa, there is no-one to overlook you and it all felt very private. When it cam time to test the pool our 2 boys were more than keen, the deep end is over 1.8M deep but this did not perturb our 2 & 4yr old who once donned with armbands took great relish in creating a big splash.
When we could wrestle ourselves away from the villa we visited local bays such as Agni, Kassiopi & Glyfa - all equally stunning with very friendly locals and amazing clear water in which to swim - we would recommend hiring a boat from Alex & George in Agni as it is a great way to explore the coastline.
In the local villages we experienced Greek dancing, pie festivals, fire shows and enjoyed every moment, the Greeks certainly know how to have a good time.
Unfortunately we were only here for a week but we left exhausted and adamant we would return again.
Highly recommended.
Our Response: Thank you for your glowing review, so glad you all enjoyed your holiday. Also great to see you've booked again for 2016. We look forward to welcoming you to Villa Artemis once again and hope it's just as wonderful as the first time! Best wishes Jane (Prestige Villas of Corfu) & the owners of Villa Artemis.

Stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Artemis. The booking was easy online and the description of villa, layout and location were accurate. Stunning villa in the hills overlooking Agni bay. Sat for ages in a morning watching the boats and ships pass by. The villa was clean and well maintained and stocked. The pool area was the best with distant views to Corfu town and Albania. Cleaner comes after first week and linen change. Spacious villa for us, a family of 4 with 2 grown up sons. May not be too well suited for small children as the pool gets deep quickly after the few steps in to the pool, but great for us, used it every day. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Great base to explore the north east of Corfu. Visited the highest point Mnt. Pantokrator and monastery, Paleokastritsa on the west side, Kasiopi (lovely harbour), Kalami beach and rocky coves near Nissaki and Corfu Town, have a drink at the Liston area. We ate at Agni taverna and Toulas at Agni bay twice. Try the Toulas prawns, so tasty. Also loved Galini taverna at Ag. Stefanos not far up from Agni, went there 5 times. great gyros takeaway in Ipsos and lots of supermarkets around the area. Stayed around the villa most of the time, relaxing, enjoying the gorgeous views and pool. Lots to see and do in Corfu, loved the relaxed feel to the island. We will definitely return.

What a spectacular villa. Such an amazing place, the views are truly stunning and the set up is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Sitting outside the villa at night, having a BBQ, a beer and watching the fire flies was just magic. We walked down to Agni Bay for dinner a couple of times (steep but doable) and drove to Kalami which is only a ten minute drive. Great beach side tavernas. Perfect place for a family holiday, just don't get a giant people carrier like we did as it is not really suitable for the roads, much easier with a smaller car! Everything at the villa was perfect, and the management company were super helpful answering any questions we had.

Everyone was more than happy with their bedrooms and we all had loads of space in and out of the villa to relax and enjoy ourselves. We loved the area and sampled quite a few of the restaurants including Toula's which served beautiful food. Our car coped well with all the hills and didn't let us down at all and although we were very lazy we did get to Corfu town and explore the local bays which were gorgeous. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from THAT view. All in all an amazing holiday and thank you for all your help in making it that way. This villa more than lived up to our expectations All you could possibly want or need is there. The views are amazing, really beautiful, actually outstanding. Set in such a pretty area it was so peaceful and relaxing. Our party of six arrived at Corfu airport at midnight, feeling apprehensive but Jane had organized the car and directions perfectly. Everything was as promised.

'Villa Artemis'
This villa lends itself to various types of holiday. The views are spectacular out to sea and down into Agni Bay, so doing nothing is one option. Sightseeing is good as this villa is located on the North East coast. We have stayed in some excellent villas throughout Europe over the years and this is one of the very best. Very comfortable, excellent facilities including a fabulous infinity pool and a large outside area and very well maintained.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable with every facility beautifully maintained by the owners. situation is 'far from the madding crowds' but near to excellent restaurants and beaches. Have already booked for two weeks in 2014 and can't wait

'Stunning!'
Villa Artemis is fabulous. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable to live in. The space inside and outside the villa is excellent with a choice of places to sit for sun or shade. The views from the villa are breathtakingly stunning and I dare you not to say 'wow!' Agni bay below has some lovely tavernas and crystal clear water. I have been twice and will be going again!
