'Blissful stay in a beautiful Villa'
Villa Avlaki is a superb villa built in traditional stone with modern stylish decor and everything of high quality, as shown in the photos. We found it perfect for our multigenerational family with 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor for my elderly father and son, while I had the master suite on the first floor which had a large private terrace and beautiful en-suite with bath & shower. The air conditioning in every room was efficient, easy to operate and very necessary in the 40 degree temperatures!! The kitchen is tiny but well equipped and the welcome pack was much appreciated, thanks. We also used the supermarket delivery service recommended on the Prestige Villas website, which was excellent. Plus there are 2 small supermarkets about a 5 minute drive from the villa which stocked food & everything else we needed. We mostly used the Weber barbecue outdoors, which is of excellent quality and easy to operate.
The Villa is totally private with no other buildings around so not overlooked and very peaceful. There are several different seating areas outside for dining, sunbathing by the pool or simply relaxing surrounded by the beautiful gardens. The pool though extended, is small and not very deep (1.3m max)so jumping in/diving not possible but perfect for relaxing on a lilo. There is a road that leads passed the villa down to Avlaki beach, which is about a 5 minute stroll. You could hear the occasional vehicle when sat by the pool but it did not disturb us. The beach was not busy, even in high season and the water beautifully clear. We visited both restaurants opposite the beach-Seafood Avlaki & Taverna Barbato-both excellent & popular, so booking is necessary.
We had a few issues which were quickly resolved by the villa owner & her maintenance team-the excellent Tasos & Antigone. A suggestion-the password for the WiFi could be written more clearly in the Villa information ie in lowercase so as not to cause confusion. And we like the local tv/radio but sadly even Tasos couldn’t get either to work, although Netflix and other international channels were available. This was only a slight disappointment as the pool, outside areas and gardens were where we spent all our time. The lighting & candles at night gave an absolutely beautiful atmosphere which enhanced our dining and encouraged regular night time swims in the pool.
I would like to thank Jane & Annabelle for their excellent communication and organisation. Prestige Villas dealt well with the Covid situation in the early days and throughout the ever changing situation, always keeping us updated about our options. We booked in early 2020 and Jane allowed us to carry our booking over to this year so that we finally got our Corfu holiday, which, after over 18 months of waiting, was everything we hoped it would be. Thank you to our host and the whole team. We look forward to returning....

'Beautiful Accomodation in a perfect location'
This lovely stone house nestled in the woods was the perfect getaway with plenty of interior and exterior space! The beautiful bay for swimming and great restaurants were a short walk away. Our host could not have been more accommodating and accessible. We would recommend this house to anyone who is visiting Corfu!

'Perfect Place'
We had a lovely stay in this house which I was surprised I was able to book at short notice. We found the place easily with the owner's instructions and had a pretty idyllic week at Avlaki Beach. The house is well equipped and aesthetically pleasing, comfortable beds and lovely surroundings. The beach really was 2 minutes away and was not crowded at the beginning of July. Another beach, a short walk away was deserted and it felt as if we'd gone back to a quieter time, blissful. There was a friendly restaurant on Avlaki beach which cooked great food. We highly recommend the house and the area and would happily go back again.

'Lovely House'
This is a lovely house, with excellent facilities. There is some traffic noise from the road but otherwise it is an excellent location, very close to a pretty beach. I would certainly recommend this as a place to stay

'Charming villa in walk of lovely tavernas'
The villa is done out to a very good standard and is very close to a lovely beach with two great tavernas on the back. It is also within reach of Kassiopi either by walking (30 mins) or a short car journey, as well as other villages by boat or car. The outside space is done very well but does have a fairly small pool which also gets a little bit of road noise (only a small road down to the beach). That small thing aside the villa was perfect and we had a great week.
