We loved staying at the Old Bakery. The view was stunning.. we loved exploring the area by boat and visiting local tavernas. The road up to the villa is not for the faint hearted! We used a cook on who came recommended by prestige villas who was excellent.

We stayed as a small family group of 6 and had a wonderful time at the villa. The road going up was steeper and longer than even anticipated from other reviews, but the views worth the drive. During peak season it also felt so quiet after venturing down to nearby beaches and towns.
We loved the pool and all the extra touches such as the portable speaker and lovely gas bbq. Air conditioning was perfect throughout the house during a very hot week.
I wish I was back in the lovely master bedroom opening the doors to the balcony, wonderful views and the sounds of the beetles / insects !

We stayed as a small family group of 6 and had a wonderful time at the villa. The road going up was steeper and longer than even anticipated from other reviews, but the views worth the drive. During peak season it also felt so quiet after venturing down to nearby beaches and towns.
We loved the pool and all the extra touches such as the portable speaker and lovely gas bbq. Air conditioning was perfect throughout the house during a very hot week.

I have just returned from my second stay at the Bakery and had another fabulous time. What a wonderful villa; that my partner joked is better equipped than our house! A lot has been upgraded in the house since we were last there, and the road approaching the house has been recently re-laid. The sublime view over the whole island thankfully is still present. The old bakery is the perfect place to get away from it all with the awe inspiring surroundings of the coast and the olive groves.
Some consider October a bit late but the weather was fantastic (in the 20s all week and a couple of days 27/28c), the island was calm, but the restaurants still largely buzzing - some great new ones have opened up in the nearby bays and in Corfu Town. Cannot wait to return and will be sure to stay at the Bakery when I do.

An incredible villa, featuring a traditional exterior and beautiful modern interior, an amazing vista with lovely pool and including an absolutely stunning view of the bay. Everything we needed was there for cooking and enjoying Corfiot island life and more, the games cupboard was great and the aircon in all the rooms was a plus at nights in the heat of August. Aphrodite’s fantastic little food supermarket at the foot of the hill was so handy (try her homemade tsatsiki), also the bakery (baklava is awesome) and Vitamines tavernas. Car needed to visit further away but the coastline is unspoilt and idyllic so this villa was a great base for exploring it all. Thanks to the Prestige team, owners and all the friendly house & pool keepers for all their generosity + great service. We’ve had the best holiday!

Aphrodite's Supermarket at the bottom of the road was great for supplies and could arrange fresh meet and fish with a days notice. Also recommend the bakery next door for baklava and breakfast items. Lots of great coves and beaches to explore within a short drive - whether you are looking for a beach club and water sports or a quiet cove with turquoise water and a seafood taverna. Highly recommend Taverva Thallasso at Kamanaki and also Taverna Vitamins on the main road at the bottom of the hill - great views.

Bakery and mini Market at the bottom of the road kept us fed and watered and highly recommend Taverna Vitamins just at the bottom of the hill and Thalasso in Kamanaki - a truly special spot if you are up for the steep drive down.
Shopping g service meant we were sorted for the first couple of days which was a great help.
Only bit of feedback was that the pillows are rather hard and big and the villa could have been a little cleaner on arrival and a mid-week clean would be a bonus.

'The Old Bakery'
The Old Bakery delivered a very high standard of comfort & relaxation. The master bedroom was glorious, waking up every morning to sunshine & stunning views was just wonderful.

'Relaxation in Corfu'
The Villa was beautiful. Only comment is that 3 bedrooms (of which one was a child’s room with bunk beds) shared a bathroom and only the master bedroom had its own en suite bathroom.

An extremely comfortable large villa with a lovely pool in a wonderful location with fabulous views. Very private but within easy driving distance of all the charming hamlets and villages of the north east coast for dining.

'The Bakery'
4th year in a row at The Bakery, it is our home away from home so we obviously only have nice things to say about it. We are now veterans of the road which leads to the Villa which some may find quite daunting on their first visit. It is however well worth the experience. Jane and Annabelle as always were first class. We have been with them as customers for over 8 years and they service never fails. Missing Katavolos and Corfu already and can't wait to come back.

'The Bakery'
This villa is everything the pictures make it out to look like. It was spacious and comfortable. My extended family of 8 slept comfortably in all the rooms with beds to spare. The pool was excellent and provided hours of swimming fun and as a backdrop for many instagram photoshoots! The kitchen was large and the private chef we hired had no complaints about the facilities.
The only cons about the villa are a minor one and a major one. Minor - The internet was slow and there is very spotty mobile phone signal. This was not that serious of a drawback as it allowed for all of us to disconnect from our devices. I would say though if travelling with children make sure you pack cards, board games or any activities.
Major - Renting a car is absolutely mandatory for this villa. The roads are very poorly constructed and extremely narrow leading up to the villa. I had hired a minibus to take my family of 8 on daily excursions and after the first day the minibus driver stated she couldn't come back as the road was too treacherous for her bus. The local taxis would not come pick us up to go to the town so unless we walked the 1 mile to town in the scorching August heat we were effectively stranded in the villa. On our departure day the minibus that came to collect us could not drive into the villa do to the narrow roads so we all had to walk up the steep road in the heat to the minibus. Thankfully, the pool staff were on hand to drive my parents who are in their 70s up the road and to ferry our luggage. If they weren't there I can't imagine how we would have managed.
All in all we had a great week, but if we had known beforehand about the difficulties to accessing the villa we would have made preparations.

Had we known you were not intending to hire a car we would have emphasised that this villa was totally unsuitable. Apart from this we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay.

'A Perfect Family Holiday'
We said we'd come back and back we came! 7th Year in a row booking through Jane and Prestige Villas. Its pretty much a seamless process for us now. Another two weeks with friends and family on our favourtie island, it's been as idylic as ever. We savioured the last of the glorious views before dragging ourselves home. Everything is always up to standard and any problems are resolved by a quick text or phone call. Highly recommend the entire Prestige Villas team.

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Old Bakery. The villa is very well equipped with top quality fixtures and fittings and is very spacious, a great place to chill out.. The road up to the villa can be a bit of a challenge, but is well worth the effort for the spectacular views. A special place for a special time, we made memories that will last a lifetime in this stunning villa. Whether dining in the local tavernas, swimming in the warm sea or simply enjoying the breathtaking views while rocking in the hammock with the occasional dip in the pool, we loved ever minute!

The road up to the villa can be a bit of a challenge, but is well worth the effort for the spectacular views. We had an amazing time at the Old Bakery. We were a bit nervous driving up to the villa for the first time as the road is long with lots of twists and turns. But we got used to it be the end of the week and the views from the villa were more than worth it!
The villa is super comfortable and perfect for families with children. There were plenty of children’s books, toys and board games which was fantastic. The pool is a really nice size and the kids had a great time playing in it.
The villa and outdoor areas feel really spacious and the emphasis is very much on relaxation thanks to a hamac, outdoor beanbags, nice loungers, and comfy seating inside.
The North East coast is stunning and it was a short drive to pretty bays like Agni or Kaminaki.

We had a week of two halves, thunderstorms for the first half and then amazing sunshine. The villa was a perfect location for both.
The villa has everything you could need and is particularly great for travelling with children.. the massive millennium falcon and a baby bouncer were extremely popular and useful.
The pool is just lovely and with heating absolutely swimmable even in early April.
Aphrodite’s shop at the bottom of the hill can provide all the basics and we took advantage of the internet shop pre arrival. G&Ts ready within 5 minutes of arriving... what could be better! Also a shout out to Vitamens the local taverna... great food, kid friendly and parking.

'Beautiful Villa with Fantastic Views'
The Bakery is a beautiful Villa with fantastic views. The road up to the Villa is challenging for those who aren't familiar with Corfuian Mountain roads. But when you get there the view is more than worth the journey. The Villa is family orientated with wifi and loads of TV options as well as an outside screen. The pool area is lovely but the loungers could do with some new cushions. We came with a party of 7 adults and the additional pool side bedroom is vital then. In reality the Villa sleeps 6 adults with room for two younger children in the bunk bed room. This increases to 8 adults when the pool side room is included. Kitchen is well kitted out and the Master Bedroom is light, cool and has a fantastic view as well as an ensuite bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms need to share a well appointed master bathroom. The poolside bedroom is fully self sufficient with bath and ensuite. All in all The Bakery is a lovely family home which we were lucky enough to be able to use for our 17 day trip to heaven. 'Beautiful Villa with Fantastic Views'
The Bakery is a beautiful Villa with fantastic views. The road up to the Villa is challenging for those who aren't familiar with Corfuian Mountain roads. But when you get there the view is more than worth the journey. The Villa is family orientated with wifi and loads of TV options as well as an outside screen. The pool area is lovely but the loungers could do with some new cushions. We came with a party of 7 adults and the additional pool side bedroom is vital then. In reality the Villa sleeps 6 adults with room for two younger children in the bunk bed room. This increases to 8 adults when the pool side room is included. Kitchen is well kitted out and the Master Bedroom is light, cool and has a fantastic view as well as an ensuite bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms need to share a well appointed master bathroom. The poolside bedroom is fully self sufficient with bath and ensuite. All in all The Bakery is a lovely family home which we were lucky enough to be able to use for our 17 day trip to heaven. 'Stunning Property in an Amazing Location'
Thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Bakery. We even got used to the drive up the steep winding road to the villa. Every amenity you could hope for and, even though we ran out of water on a few occasions, it didn't affect our enjoyment. The Villa is beautiful and the setting is stunning. To wake up to the most amazing view every morning is really a major plus for us. It was plenty big enough for 10 of us to stay at without feeling cramped at all (the extra room in the guest cottage was idyllic for 2 x 20 yr old girls!). Highly recommend.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed the Old Bakery. Our friends booked this holiday so was a little apprehensive, but on arrival we were blown away with the house in every way, the views are to die for. It was everything you need for a first class family holiday, extremely clean with every convenience you would require. The crowning glory of this lovely house in the stunning pool area which was cleaned every second day and kept immaculate by the lovely pool guy. Loved the guest cottage with the old brass bath in the corner. The only blip was a plumbing problem which was attended to immediately by your staff. All in all a perfect holiday in a perfect villa in a perfect location. Looking to return next year so we'll be in touch soon.

'Gorgeous Villa'
The Old Bakery is a gorgeous villa, well-equipped and superbly managed by Prestige. Any issues were dealt with promptly. 'An amazing week at the awesome Old Bakery'
What an amazing week we had in a beautiful house in a stunning location. Spent the last week of Summer with our children before they returned to Uni and we were all in paradise - from the stunning views, the gorgeous pool, the outdoor cinema, music systems and the luxurious interiors - we didn't want to leave! The house was so well appointed and we rarely left the comfort of our own surroundings - only once for a supermarket visit, twice to the sea and a couple of times to eat out in the evening - we really could have stayed for ever.
A very easy booking experience and helpful assistance when there if we needed it - we would thoroughly recommend a visit to The Old Bakery and will hopefully be back again soon!

'A Wonderful Place'
Gorgeous villa, beautifully maintained. The view is lovely. Pool is unusually large and the owner had just installed a new heater which made it warm in May. Incredibly well equipped with every tech gadget imaginable whilst still being full of character.
