Perfect for Beach Lovers!!
This delightful detached two bedroom beach villa is one of three situated in their own private pretty gardens leading down to the sandy beach of Agios Gordios where we have our own sunbeds on the sand.
Originally old fisherman's houses, the villa has two bedrooms (Sleeping 2-6) and was renovated in 2016 and has proved a very popular choice with numerous repeat guests.
Tastefully furnished and decorated, these modern Beach Villas are a perfect choice for families during the Summer who enjoy a beach holiday or couples looking for a relaxing break who enjoy days on the beach and evenings sat watching the sunset in one of the many chill-out bars along the beach. The high street of Agios Gordios with its many restaurants, bars & mini markets is just a 2 minute walk up the beach.
The houses are fully Air Conditioned, have WiFi and Satellite TV. Extremely well maintained, their vaulted ceilings give a bright and spacious feel. The owner of the villas also runs a beach side taverna where home cooked Greek dishes are a speciality.
A Corfu beauty spot
People return again and again to this charmer of a village on Corfu’s west coast. It’s home to one of the island’s loveliest beaches, plus a decent cache of restaurants, bars and shops. And the surrounding countryside – all green hills, cypress trees and olive groves – is said to be among the prettiest on the island.
A blue flag winner
The long, golden-sand beach isn’t just this village’s main attraction – it’s also one of the best-loved in all Corfu. It stretches for about 1.5 kilometres, and even includes private areas for naturists. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. For drinks and snacks, you can head to the tavernas overlooking the sands.
Day trips to Corfu town
From here it’s a 45-minute bus journey to Corfu Town, the island capital. This is the place for shopping, with everything from jewellers and carpet shops to familiar names like Marks and Spencer. It’s also got a UNESCO-listed old town, packed with cobbled, winding streets. There’s plenty to explore, including a 16th-century fortress and the Church of Agios Spyridon, which has beautiful ceiling murals and houses the relics of the saint in a golden shrine. And when hunger hits, try the Liston, an Italian-style colonnade lined with cafés.

'Loved our villa but beds are hard'
Your service was excellent, emails replied to very promptly.
We loved Villa Gorgona and it’s location. Cleaning lady was excellent. We would really like to return but the beds were so hard and uncomfortable- twin beds and double. I slept badly for10 nights. I spoke to another couple who were staying there and they asked for a mattress topper but it didn’t help a lot. I would return as we loved the place but the comfort of the beds and mattress are a deal breaker for me. Good beach service from Marta. Loved the character of the villa.
