'Excellent Hideaway'
Niki and Manthos’ villa was an unexpected gem hidden deep in the hills of Corfu.
The villa was large with enough rooms to accommodate a family of six with young children. The pool(s) were a highlight for the children and the extensive garden space was welcomed in the Corfu sun. Niki was very helpful with our needs before, during and after our stay.
Rooms were nicely furnished and wifi was far reaching (even to the ends of garden).
Villa Claire isn’t too far from Corfu Old Town (25 min drive) but be wary of the windings roads leading up to the villa as they are quite tight. Car is essential and there is ample parking space.
Overall we would definitely recommend Villa Claire and we would gladly stay here again should the opportunity arise.

'Amazing Villa'
The villa and grounds were beautiful. The only reason we gave the comfort 4 stars is that we didn't find the bed's very comfortable. However, I understand that is personal taste so can be difficult to please everyone.
The hosts were great, we knew they were there if we needed them but were happy to give us all the privacy and space we could ask for.

'Amazing Villa'

'An Excellent Hidden Gem of a Villa!!'
We had the most relaxing, calm, adult family holiday we have ever had. The location was gorgeous, totally private and isolated. The villa was very well presented and comfy including 3 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large lounge area and fully equipped kitchen. The gardens are immaculate and inviting and I spent the majority of my time there in the garden and grounds. The owners were nothing but charming and helpful. The villa is starting to need a little maintenance however for it to keep its 5 star rating. This is a villa for adults or adult family (teenagers) due to pool rules and maintenance but that suited us well. There is a very nice village nearby where you can buy groceries and a bakery where you can buy freshly baked bread. You will need transport (not too large) to access the village as the area is very hilly and even though you could walk if you were fit enough it would take a good part of an hour one way and in the highest heat of the day this may not be comfortable. Corfu town is not far away and there is a bus service which runs regularly from the next village. We had the holiday of a lifetime amongst the people of Corfu who are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this villa and would book it again if we should ever return..

We had the most relaxing, calm, adult family holiday we have ever had. The location was gorgeous, totally private and isolated. The gardens are immaculate and inviting and I spent the majority of my time there in the garden and grounds. The owners were nothing but charming and helpful. 'A perfect destination to relax and indulge. Highly recommended'
Villa Claire is a true hidden gem - the most perfect holiday retreat. The quite hideaway location offered us complete privacy, in beautiful natural surroundings with stunning far reaching views. The villa was excellently equipped, spacious and very comfortable. A wonderful pool set in beautiful gardens. Villa Claire is in the perfect location to explore the whole of Corfu island. Niki and Manthos are lovely people, warm, welcoming and happy to offer any help and advice. They even prepared a delicious meal on our arrival at the villa as our flight had been delayed and we arrived quite late at night.

Very comfortable and very well equipped. The host Niki was very kind and helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable with nice balconies. We liked the privacy and the the quiet. On the other hand the lack of door in the master bedroom is inconvenient! The spiral stares to the bedrooms might be a problem for older people. All over we enjoyed our staying very much.

Very comfortable and very well equipped. The host Niki was very kind and helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable with nice balconies. We liked the privacy and the the quiet. On the other hand the lack of door in the master bedroom is inconvenient! The spiral stares to the bedrooms might be a problem for older people. All over we enjoyed our staying very much.

'Amazing Clean Villa, Well Equipped with Lovely Views'
This Villa is gorgeous. The photos don’t give it justice. The owners were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. There is a taverna less than 20 minutes walk away. We loved the location as it’s away from the madness of Corfu town but yet near enough to go for a day trip. We would definitely go back to this Villa.

'Lovely Holiday in Beautiful Villa'
We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful villa, a perfect base to use to get out and about and explore the island with beautiful beaches on the west coast being only 30 to 40 minutes drive away. Due to the range in ages in our party we drove into the village but it is walkable if you're fit and healthy. We drove into Benitses most evenings to eat as there was a good selection of restaurants. Achilleon Palace is only a few minutes drive away and is well worth a visit. The owners Niki and Manthos were excellent in looking after us and available if any questions arose. Jane at Prestige Villas made the villa and car hire booking nice and easy. It was good to know they were easily contactable if required. The only down side to us was that probably due to the time of year there were wasps about which if you ignored them they sort of ignored you. On the whole we had a great holiday and would recommend to others.

'Very Nice Stay'
We had a very nice stay in Villa Claire. Niki and Manthos are very discrete and available for any needs. The villa is extremely nice and in a good position to reach different parts of the island. We recommend to visit especially north east and north west area, with a boat too if possible. Very positive experience, only a couple of points. 'Very Nice Stay'
We had a very nice stay in Villa Claire. Niki and Manthos are very discrete and available for any needs. The villa is extremely nice and in a good position to reach different parts of the island. 'Beautiful Well Kept Villa, Really Unspoilt Area & Peaceful'
The Villa and garden and surroundings are stunning, when we pulled in to the driveway we were amazed at all the space! The garden is well kept and so is the pool. You can walk in to gastouri, it's about 15-20mins and you can walk to benitses which is maybe 25mins. Much easier to get a car although it is a lovely walk in the day, it's quite remote so it's not lit at night. We were a group of 6 and there was a sunbed each and enough toilets and showers. I think the drainage isn't the best in the remote areas and the toilets/ showers/ bathrooms had a pretty bad smell. Despite this I would definitely come back to villa Claire, the lovely cicada's in the evening were blissful and the bistro in Gastouri with its amazing owners were so welcoming and fun and the food is amazing! We did a couple of BBQs, there were no coals so we had to get more. Also no basics like salt and pepper and the wifi code was wrong but niki was on hand to call or pop down and bring us what we needed! Her and her husband were very attentive and helpful and always available. I would recommend villa Claire for its location too, it's out of the way but still close enough to a beach and town and a great location on the island to be able to drive easily to all areas and coastlines without spending too long in the car. Such a gorgeous place with very fond memories! Thankyou

Locally in Gastouri is the Achilleon palace which is worth a visit with a couple of Tavernas that only open during the day with spectacular views across the bays The Villa owners Nikki & Manthos are lovely people who go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. If you like peace & quiet away from all the noise then this is the ideal place. We had one of our best holidays in many years & love Corfu with so much to see. Recommended..

Because the weather was so bad for six days we couldnt appreciate the outside area and pool as much as we would have liked.In saying that the Villa itself was immaculate and just as stated in the profile on the website.We dont have enough good words to say about the owners Nikki and Manthos who when we had a few minor hiccups dealt with them promptly and efficiently and on leaving we were presented with a couple of gifts which were greatly appreciated.A great Villa in a nice peacefull location and would recommend it to anyone going to the Benitses area.

Villa Claire was a great choice for our family holiday, as a party of 6 (4 adults & 2 children) the accommodation was perfect with extensive gardens and a lovely pool.
The villa is just outside Gastouri village away from everyone but still only 5 minutes by car to Benitses which is lovely family resort with many bars and restaurants to choose from overlooking the sea.
The villa location is great for accessing other beaches on the Island, shingle nearby and 20 minutes to nearest sandy beach on the west coast,plus the airport and Corfu Town. .
Prestige Villas were very helpful and efficient in terms of booking the villa and organising car hire and reception at the airport. The instructions to the villa were very clear, necessary in view of some of the local narrow roads.

Villa Claire was a great choice for our family holiday, as a party of 6 (4 adults & 2 children) the accommodation was perfect with extensive gardens and a lovely pool.
The villa is just outside Gastouri village away from everyone but still only 5 minutes by car to Benitses which is lovely family resort with many bars and restaurants to choose from overlooking the sea.
The villa location is great for accessing other beaches on the Island, shingle nearby and 20 minutes to nearest sandy beach on the west coast,plus the airport and Corfu Town. .

'Lovely Property'
We had a lovely holiday staying at Villa Clare and we can thoroughly recommend it. It is very well cared for by the friendly owners and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. It has a nice pool with sun chairs and parasols and a very good outside kitchen where we enjoyed many evening BBQs. We would recommend a car staying here though, the villa is in a rural area and although a 2 minute drive down the lane brings you to the back of Benitses village where there are lots of lovely places to eat, it's a hike back on foot. Corfu as an island is amazing and this area is extremely nice, we like Benitses very much and people were very friendly. It's also so easy to get into Corfu Town which we loved too, lots of quaint streets and good shopping. Aqualand isn't far either, that was a day for the children. Will definitely look at returning to Corfu in the future and wouldn't hesitate in staying here.
