POST COVID-19 LIFE IN CORFU ......
Due to an early and extremely strict lock-down, Greece managed to contain the spread of the virus especially on the islands, in Corfu we saw just five cases prior to the tourist season. Naturally cases did increase sightly once tourism resumed, but Corfu has continued to remain very much on the 'safe list' and the island enjoyed a relatively busy summer with booming villa rentals sales with beach bars, waterfront restaurants & tavernas all reporting sales far higher than originally anticipated.
As the season now draws to a close, we understand your concerns with regards to pre-planning your 2021 holiday.
A villa holiday in Corfu is a perfect choice to enjoy a peaceful, away from it all holiday in a safe environment for you and your family. Our villas are all cleaned to the very highest standard prior to your arrival, our company and our staff have all passed the COVID-19 'Health First' Certificate which will be displayed in each property. Due to government restrictions though, we won't be offering any housekeeping visits during your stay unless you specifically request them, extra bed linen and towels will be provided for you on arrival as will hand sanitzing gel. Naturally due to the additional cleaning protocols, you may find the housekeeping staff are still preparing the villa when you arrive, please do allow them the extra time involved in ensuring the villa is completely clean for your stay and please keep your distance. Pool staff and gardening staff will keep their visits short and will be adhering to all the government recommendations regarding social distancing.
2021 and the future.....
"I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MY 2021 HOLIDAY, BUT WHAT HAPPENS IF TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ARE INTRODUCED OR ARE STILL IN PLACE FOR LONGHAUL ARRIVALS ?..."
For reservations for nationalities where travel restrictions due to COVID-19 may be introduced after the reservation has been confirmed, we will continue to give those clients the option of amending their dates without penalty.
We would however, urge all our clients to ensure their travel insurance has cover for travel disruption or cancellation due to Covid-19 as refunds are not guaranteed and very much at the discretion of our suppliers and villa owners.
