Del Cielo is a stunning and totally romantic private retreat situated just below Spartilas, offering unbelievable 360 degree views over the coastline, Albania, the Greek mainland and much of the island itself. Probably the most magical property in Corfu.

The tower is a landmark building, and can be seen from miles around during the day and flood light at night.
The house has been built of natural and imported Italian stone, set into the landscape retaining almost all of its 150 olive trees.
Sleeping up to ten guests comfortably with 5 air-conditioned bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for large family gatherings or group of friends. This stunning property offers great possibilities for entertaining, with an excellent outdoor kitchen, fully equipped with barbecue and wood burning pizza oven and various indoor and outdoor play/entertainment facilities including satellite T.V with Filmon and Netflix and Wi-Fi internet connection to keep the children (of all ages!) entertained.
The interiors have been stylishly decorated creating a light, relaxed and informal ambience.
The villa has several spacious outdoor areas for privacy and entertaining; including private spaces, balconies, and courtyards, plus a large kitchen terrace for everyday eating.
Younger family members will love the children´s playground and the pool toys provided, whilst others will no doubt enjoy the huge range of board and card games, books, giant outdoor chess and dominoes, not to mention the table tennis.

The bedrooms at Del Cielo are spacious and individually themed, each with stone or timber floors (under floor heating available for a supplement in winter months) and a private en-suite bathroom. They all have air conditioning and mosquito nets for Summer comfort.
The main bedroom suite occupies the whole of the first floor and has a lobby/dressing room leading to the large en suite bathroom and the exterior covered loggia. It has a spacious private sun terrace with fabulous mountain and coastal views. The lower bedroom and tower bedroom are situated away from the main building and are ideal for couples but not for young children.(these bedrooms are reached along illuminated paths and steps) They each have their own outdoor space. The circular tower bedroom has its own i-Pod docking station and DVD player, and amazing views to Albania. Better still, with its own roof terrace there are with unbelievable 360 degree views. (Adult access only) The two ground floor twin rooms are part of the main building and ideally suited for children. (Further fold up beds and cots are on hand and will be made up to suit families with babies and young children sharing adults’ rooms.) The sleeping configuration is as follows: Bedroom 1 – Super King size bed, 1 Cot, large roof terrace Bedroom 2 – 2 single beds, courtyard Bedroom 3 – 2 single beds, courtyard Bedroom 4 – Super-King size bed, balcony and private garden Bedroom 5 – King Size Bed, terrace The bathrooms all have stone flooring with underfloor heating, excellent lighting and good mirrors. The wash bowls are counter mounted and there is ample space for toiletries and to hang bath robes and towels. All the showers have been fitted with two showers, a large overhead and hand held shower. The main en-suite has a double ended bath and separate walk-in shower, the tower bathroom a free-standing copper bath from which you can enjoy views to Albania, and just outside the tower (via steps) is an outdoor overhead shower that serves both the tower and pool. Cooking and dining at Del Cielo is a dream both indoors and out. The main kitchen is custom designed and built in hand painted pine with solid oak worktops, double Belfast sink, large central island, Rangemaster cooker, American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, juicer, toaster and kettle. The villa offers a complete home from home with a full range of tableware, glasses, cutlery, cookware, and just a step from the kitchen terrace Jane has provide a herb bed positively inviting to those who enjoy cooking with the benefits of the Mediterranean diet; basil, thyme, marjoram, oregano, sage , rosemary and mint are all available for the picking! Outdoor Summer dining is a real highlight of holidays at Del Cielo. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen/barbeque with traditional Corfiot pizza oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer charcoal and electric barbecues. The large custom made stone table with bench has seating for 10+ people. This is ideal for summer parties and relaxed pool side entertainment. Closer to the main house everyday eating usually takes place on the very generous and covered kitchen terrace where there is ample space for 10 to sit comfortably around a wooden refectory table. Should you wish to eat inside, the breakfast bar sits 3 and the dining area has space for 6. For your convenience we have included mod-cons and equipment such as a washing machine, tumbler dryer, iron, ironing board, clothes airer, outside drying area, belfast sink as well as a cot and high chair. |
