Beautiful villa with plenty of space in a stunning location. We did not hire a car but used the local bus to visit Corfu Town and beyond. Lots of tavernas in the town and on the beach front. Very steep hill up from the beach- not an issue for us but need to be aware for people who are less fit!

Villa Descansa is located on the hill above the wonderful Agios Gordios with a first-class view of the sea. It has its price in the form of steep slopes to and from the house. There is a small path down to the sea that takes 10 minutes but is very steep, the alternative is to walk along the road down to the village and it takes about 20 minutes. There is a small but well-stocked shop right next door, very good. There is a seating area for 8 people, where you can eat your meals. There is also a very nice pool area next to the fantastic infinity pool. The pool was very well maintained and cleaned regularly and carefully. We spent a lot of time there. There is a charcoal grill that is nice to use.
Upon arrival we had a little trouble getting the A/C system to work but thanks to super fast service from the prestigevilla team we solved the problem. If you don't have a car like we did, the garbage is a little problem as the garbage station is 1 km up the mountain and walking on foot in the heat is not worth thinking about. We had a nice dialogue with the pool attendant and with a little tip he can take the garbage to the garbage station.
This is one of the nicest villas we have rented in Greece and I can highly recommend this villa and can definitely return. We thought the villa felt very private but at the same time close to the wonderful beaches below and all the nice restaurants. Perfect to be able to divide the day with different activities. A tip is to use online shopping and order everything for the house, also for those who like pizza, there is a good pizzeria in the village that has home delivery.

We loved our stay in Villa Descansa, the view, pool and villa were all superb. We had a couple of big family dinners and found the space worked really well. The staff, Julia and Annabelle were easy to contact and quick to respond if we had any issues.

We had a great stay at the villa! The views are incredible and especially the outdoor spaces are gorgeous and well maintained. The pool was bigger than the photos led on! It’s also super close to a beautiful small village and beach, so there’s lots to do. We had an issue with some of the showers not working one day, but that was super quickly resolved (thank you!), and the kitchen does not have an oven, so we found the cooking options somewhat limited - but overall we had a really great time at the villa!

The walk down to the restaurants /beach is fine but it’s a looonnnggg way back to the Villa !
We were unable to take rubbish to the bins because we had no car and the bins were way up the mountain .. the fantastic team though arranged for the lovely pool guy to take our rubbish when he visited.
Would not hesitate to recommend, would return but would hire a car next time.

The travel time was early October, perfect weather and still enough activity on the island before the season ends. The villa was the optimal starting point for us to explore Corfu. The location and the view of the sea and the evening sunset are excellent. The setup of the premises is well thought out, good equipment and worth mentioning is of course the infinity pool overlooking the sea. Easy check-in process and fast and competent communication complete the very good impression.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Villa Descansa, the views were fantastic, especially the sunsets. The location is good; it is a little out of the resort and up a steep hill which might be challenging for some, but walkable if you are fit, though a car is recommended and the parking is fine, steepish steps down to villa. The villa is comfortable and well furnished and the outside sitting areas and furniture were good, the infinity pool was lovely (but lining could do with some maintenance over the closed season). The air conditioning worked well (had to be reset a couple of times by switching the power off for a while and back on). If you plan to cook much, there are enough utensils and cookware for basic needs, plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery (a small saucepan, a bowl, a water jug and and a tray would be good additions, but these are minor things). The washing, machine, drier and dishwasher all worked well. I would definitely return with family or friends.

The villa was amazing!! The place is perfect for peaceful vacation! We was 6 people and we had a lot of space , in the beginning the air conditioning didn’t work well but they was available and help us to fix it, the pool not very clean but the view worth it, amazing place.. 🤍🇬🇷🧿

The villa was gorgeous and had some beautiful views and all rooms where of a clean standard. We had a couple of incidents where the electric blew but communication was brilliant and someone come out quickly to resolve it. The only issue we had is that it’s not entirely clear that the villa is a steep inclined walk from all restaurants and bars etc and taxis are not available . For fit and young people it’s fine, a member of our party had a bad knee and was a big issue for him. Overall loved the villa and the communication with prestige was fab.

The villa is situated in a fantastic position with expansive views out to sea and as it is on the west coast you can view the incredible sunset every evening. A short walk into the village of Agios Gordios offers a vast choice of tavernas and local shops that offer gifts and basic food items. We did drive to the larger supermarkets to stock up but it was only a 20 minute drive. A car is definitely needed if you want to access the larger stores and explore more of Corfu. The villa was exceptionally well appointed and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. It was particularly hot whilst we were there and some extra parasols would have provided some much needed shade. The service during the week was exceptional. We have stayed in many villas over the years and this was the first time we not only had change of towels but clean sheets throughout and all the bathrooms were cleaned. Would definitely stay here again.

We were a family party of 8 adults and the villa itself was more than big enough to accommodate us all and give privacy and space when needed. Cleanliness, air con and facilities were great. The pool area was just about big enough and the south west facing views were beautiful. The pool itself had two shallow areas but then a steep drop to main pool which was all one depth. The walk to the lovely beach, restaurants and shops was easy but hot, the younger members of the family coped but oldies preferred a lift!

This is a stunning villa with amazing views. We were looking for somewhere very special for our wedding anniversary and this ticked all the boxes. Agios Gordios is a lovely quiet village within walking distance of the villa and has plenty of shops and tavernas. The locals are so friendly and welcoming and the beach is lovely to go to for an early morning walk. The walk back up the hill to the villa is quite steep but good exercise!
We have stayed in Corfu several times and this is our favourite place now!

We absolutely loved our stay. The views were breathtaking, the infinity pool was refreshing and the home was perfect for our group. We also loved the little seaside town. The people are all welcoming and warm. We could travel and explore all of the beaches and towns because this location made it possible! Will definitely come again.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much. The house is beautiful, and the view is amazing. The house is well appointed and has pretty much everything you might need and there is an efficient grocery delivery service. The village and beach are not far away, but the road is steep, so we occasionally ended up using the car, especially when carrying all the stuff you need for the day on the beacn. The Village is small, but has some nice restaurants and a few shops where you can have fun bargaining for clothes and leather goods etc.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much. The house is beautiful, and the view is amazing. The house is well appointed and has pretty much everything you might need and there is an efficient grocery delivery service. Exceptional website! This villa is built on one of the most beautiful bays of the island of Corfu. The view is beautiful. The modern house is very comfortable and the terrace and pool are very well designed. Pedestrian access to the beach (sand) 12 minutes away. The village where you can find many small shops is very close but requires the car because the road is sloping. Efficient assistance from the owner by messages. A private parking space and others are possible in front of the entrance.

Pool maintenance was great guy but the pool was terrible. It’s basically broken. We arrived and it was even full. That’s not good value for
Money
The gardens were dirty and unswept. Was advised that is was daily but due to wind gets messy quick…. that was not true I cleaned anc swept once and it was fine the whole week. Just wasn’t done.
Floors in villa were grotty and showers were over flowing on arrival … clogged drains… we had to clean about 2 years of others people hair
Not enough sun beds for 8 people villa
Air con wasn’t working in all rooms at same time and no one ever come back to me

We are shocked and saddened to read your review of Villa Descansa. There had been a small problem the day of your arrival with the non-return valve of the pool not being quite closed due to debris, this resulted in a slightly lower level of water on your arrival. This is extremely common and the pool maintenance guy cleaned the valve and the levels were rectified. The pool certainly isn’t broken as you describe. Our Housekeeper Louise is consistently rated 5* on her standard of cleaning and she is utterly at a loss as to why you would rate her 2*. The design and affect of the floors in the villa are of a modern unique design, the marks which show in the concrete can appear dirty but they certainly aren’t. We’re sorry the shower drains were overflowing, had you mentioned this on our What’s App group chat we would have sent maintenance over immediately. Looking back at our notes we understood the Air conditioning was working fine after being re-set following the power cut. The property is set within land which during the heat of the Summer is dry and extremely dusty. Keeping the area free of dust and debris is difficult as many days we do encounter windy afternoons. Overall we realise perhaps this property didn’t suit your needs and as a company we are extremely sorry you felt it the value for money was just 2* out of 5*. Many thanks though for taking the time for the feedback and we do hope to see you again in the future.

'Beautiful Villa Overlooking Agios Gordios'
Beautiful villa located above Agios Gordios. What a wonderful spot with amazing views. The villa has everything you could want. Beds very comfortable and pool was great for a cooling off dip and the kids really loved it. Villa is within walking distance of town but it’s quite a climb back up in the heat so I would recommend a car to get out and about. The team from Prestige were superb. Any query was answered straight away. The only drawback I can think of is the steps down to the villa so for someone who is not too mobile it wouldn’t be a great choice. Apart from that I would highly recommend

Beds very comfortable and pool was great for a cooling off dip and the kids really loved it. Villa is within walking distance of town but it’s quite a climb back up in the heat so I would recommend a car to get out and about. The team from Prestige were superb. The house gives you full view on the bay and the fabulous sunsets from each room and its so nice you can hear the waves from the sea. The inside interior is modern and minimalistic, and all comfort is there for you such as 2 wiggle chairs on the terrace, Sonos boxes, large smart TVs in each bed and living room, and en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom. We liked that the touristic center and the beach of Agios Gordios are on walking distance from the Villa. There are nice restaurants at the beach and we tried a number of them. Overall a fantastic villa and we will definitely come back.

The house gives you full view on the bay and the fabulous sunsets from each room and its so nice you can hear the waves from the sea.
