All in all, the house is also beautiful, but the last 2 days of our stay the running water stopped working and the host was really little present to solve this problem.

We are so so sorry for the water problem. Unfortunately the municipal water was off for 2 days during your stay due to a problem which affected the water supply to the whole of the local area, so not just you was affected. This was completely out of our control and really feel it very unfair to rate this lovely property with just 1*

Great villa we really enjoyed the 11 nights we stayed at emerald bay. I would say a car is necessary due to the step climb from the main road. Amazing views of the bay. The Cicadas were fairly noisy but got used to the sound fairly quickly and now when I hear that sound it reminds us of our holiday in Corfu. It was almost 40c when we were there but the house was pretty cool when the ac was on so all good in that regard. The 3 bathrooms were all very nice with good powerful showers. My only criticism would be the pool it’s not very deep and I think it’s been designed for families with young children, but it was still nice to get Into it and chill out

We had a great time in the villa. Barbati is a nice and quite tourist area with plenty of restaurants and a great beach. Boat rental was particularly nice on hot summersday. Supermarket around the corner.

'Wonderful villa with stunning views'
We were really impressed with prestige villas. The villa was really well equipped and had some nice thoughtful touches.
We stayed at the end of a heatwave so the well positioned air conditioning was very welcomed!
The grocery delivery service was a godsend.
The views were simple stunning from the villa’s balconies and were worth the steep hills to have them, but we knew this was the case having read the other reviews.
Barbati was beautiful and the sea crystal clear. We hired a boat and a car for the day and went to Corfu town. The tavernas were all great and a few small supermarket shops, with one very near the villa was handy. Personally we would have liked a bit more to just wander around of an evening like a small harbour but that’s just us.
Would highly recommend this fantastic villa and if we come back to Corfu I’ll definitely look to use prestige villas again. Thank you!

'Emerald Bay'
The villa is very spacious with lots of different areas to relax and chill out. The pool is especially welcoming in the heat. Aircon and mosquito nets on all the windows provide a welcome relief from the outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped and a pleasure to use. The beds comfortable and plenty of space for clothes. Bathrooms exellent and provision of towels very adequate.
As stated previously the villa could do with a deep clean at the end of season and was a little tired in places but on the whole did not bother us as a family.
The view is outstanding and it is really quiet and relaxing. The hill to the villa is very steep and would not suit those less mobile but Barbati is perched on the side of a huge mountain so its nothing we did not expect. I would rate this villa 5 star if your looking for peace and tranquility as we were. Winner for us ✌️😊

We can’t apologise enough if you thought the cleaning wasn’t up to scratch. We would usually check the villas in advance of guests arrivals and our Housekeeper Nicole at Emerald Bay is usually very thorough and conscientious.
The owners of the villa have allowed us the opportunity to renovate the property over the Winter and all being well there should be 2 new modern bathrooms and a new look for Summer 2023.
Glad to see that you did enjoy your stay overall, you were a pleasure to host and we hope to see you again in the future.

Another 5* holiday booked through Prestige Villas; Could only give gardens 3* as mostly terrace.
Positioned on the hillside and has fantastic views. Worth the climb, albeit very steep, at the end of the evening, great calorie burner!
Barbati is reassuringly small and has enough restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and bars to provide a good choice. Rent a boat at Spiros and visit the beautiful bays and restaurants along the North East coast.
Loved this little villa, ticked every box for us and we are already planning our return.

A lovely comfortable stay in a gorgeous part of Corfu. The villa had everything we needed and more. Close a quiet beach with a lovely bar and still near enough to walk to the main beach (if you aren't afraid of steep hills!). Prestige Villas kept in touch throughout the stay and were very helpful.

'Thank You Prestige Villas'
Very helpful and professional team who always responded promptly to any questions we had after booking .Originally due to holiday at the height of the COVID pandemic but our booking was easily changed to 2021 at no extra cost .The villa itself is good value for money with spectacular views. I agree with other reviews that if you have mobility issues the approach to the villa is extremely steep( we knew this when we booked so not a problem to us ).The location is perfect being just minutes away from the beach, restaurants & bars though far enough away for a good nights sleep.The villa itself is perfectly adequate to self cater as we did on several occassions & benefits from a slimline dishwasher so no dishes.The beds were comfortable & the aircon was appreciated during the warmer nights. We had a few minor niggles during our stay all of which were resolved promptly by Annabelle & the team.I would highly recommend booking with Prestige Villas and would not hesistate to do so again in the future.

'Good Value for money'
The villa was clean and the welcoming pack was a very nice touch. The pool was small and half of it was very shallow. The facilities were very good and the TV programmes and film choice were excellent. The barbecue was supplied with fuel which was a nice considerate touch. Overall the villa was very good with only 2 issues from our point of view. Although the villa is near the sea the hills are very steep and difficult to walk up. There seems to be a resident cat(s) and this gave me serious allergy problems. The cleaners were good in trying to alleviate the problem but it was still an issue.

Barbati is one of the best places to stay in Corfu and the villa is so lovely. We had everything we needed and there were really sweet touches from the hosts. In brief I would say that overall it was a really fantastic villa/ location and that your service was excellent… … a few additional comments would include
more written info about the practical things of the villa … eg. What to do with rubbish, how to work the TV etc. Plus it would have been good to know just how steep the driveway is and that caution is needed arriving for the first time in the dark… we got stuck halfway up when we arrived and the car started slipping… so we had to reverse back and walk up to check out where the villa was and then just the driver went up in the car. Another time even in the daytime the car got stuck when we tried to go up with four of us!
We had an absolutely lovely holiday though and it was just what we needed and absolutely would recommend your company and this villa.

'6 Emerald Bay, Barbati'
The Prestige Villa staff were brilliant before and during our stay and were always quick to respond to any queries.
The Villa was beautiful and extremely clean and well equipped, with fantastic views. It is spread over 3 floors, with the 2 main bedrooms opening out on the ground level to the pool. All 3 bedrooms were a good size with lots of storage. On the top level, there is a large roof terrace but as there was no seating up there, we didn't really use it, but the views are wonderful from up there. The pool was lovely and warm and just right for our family of 4. We stayed around the villa quite a bit, as the walk to and from the main street and beach was very hard work. The road up to the Villa itself is almost vertical and in the heat in August, it was too much effort. You can then get down to the main road by a short cut which takes about 10 minutes, but this is also very steep and quite challenging! Along the main road, there are a few souvenir/beach type shops, some restaurants and although there are some supermarkets, these are only really good for essentials. If you walk down further still (again very steep) you can get to the beach which is lovely and long but because it is very narrow, it gets very busy and unless you get there early, the sunbeds will have all been taken. There are a couple of nice restaurants at each end of the beach and also 2 boat rental places. We hired a boat one day and popped along to the Nicolas Taverna in Agni Bay which was great. All in all, we did have a lovely holiday and cannot fault the Villa, but we were a little disappointed by Barbati and the climb to and from the Villa.

The Prestige Villa staff were brilliant before and during our stay and were always quick to respond to any queries.

Emerald Bay villa in Barbati was just perfect for our week away with the family. The villa itself was the most well equipped villa We have stayed in. The villa was spotlessly clean and the pool was a godsend during the long hot days. The villa offers the most wonderful views over Barbati and beyond- very special, and a great excuse for a photo opportunity to send back home! Emerald Bay is the first attached villa that we’ve stayed in. In the past we’ve always rented detached villas, which initially was a tiny concern, however the villa is completely secluded as far as privacy goes and there was absolutely no feeling that you even had neighbours next door. The hill that leads up to the villa is a killer! The younger members of the fam found it easy enough to run up, but my husband and myself dreaded the climb, especially after a large meal and a couple of glasses of wine!That said, it was embraced each time and in a funny way, seemed to get easier as the week went on. Barbati is a place of steep hills, so our fitness levels certainly have improved!We chose not to hire a car as Emerald Bay is very central to the restaurants, beach and supermarkets , however we did take the Green bus to Kassiópi while we were there. The bus service is inexpensive if you don’t want to drive and frequent. Our holiday at Emerald Bay was a wonderful one. From the initial booking , to our holiday itself, was hassle free and without doubt the most relaxed villa holiday we’ve had. We can’t wait to come back!

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à Corfu, la villa était parfaite pour 5 personnes, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Une maginfique vue sur toute la baie de Corfu, un régal. Très bien située géographiquement. la petite crique, calme et tranquille, toute proche de la villa, où nous avons apprécié de nous y baigner tous les matins, un ravissement.

Très bien située géographiquement. la petite crique, calme et tranquille, toute proche de la villa, où nous avons apprécié de nous y baigner tous les matins, un ravissement.

Villa was great- clean, sunny, comfortable, with great views, nice pool- and very well equipped with great wifi! Couple of minor things - promo material mentioned barbecue but there didn't seem to be one, beds are very firm..could do with mattress toppers! ..thank you very much to Chris who was very responsive to our questions - thanks we had a great holiday - loved barbati .

The villa does actually have two BBQ's, one for the pool area and another for the roof top veranda, we discovered after you had left that the Villa Manager had forgotten to bring them out of the store room in error, we can't apologise enough as realise that a BBQ is so important. Had we known during your stay we would have arranged for him to make them available immediately.. Also, the owners have asked us to order a topper for the master bedroom which will make the bed much softer. Thanks so much for your review and hope you had a safe trip back to NZ with great memories of Corfu!!
