This pretty village house is located in one of Corfu's most picturesque villages Kinopiastes which is a firm favourite with our family. Home to not only Jasmine House but to the famous Tripa Taverna where the Kennedy's, Anthony Quinn & Aristotle Onassis have all enjoyed the hospitality, the food and the traditional Greek dancing by the villagers. This traditional village has a wonderful evening atmosphere, whether you chose a night of lively entertainment in Tripa or prefer to spend a balmy evening sat in the Village Square under the trees watching the world go by whilst you enjoy a glass of local Retsina and a Souvlaki. If you love Greece, you will love Kinopiastes ....
Jasmine House is more of a cottage rather than a house, located just off the sleepy high street and up a quiet footpath. The ground floor comprises of a spacious sitting room with open fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD. The fitted kitchen is to the rear. There's also a small modern shower room in contemporary design. Up the open wooden staircase you will find two bedrooms, one King Size and one twin. From the double room there is a Juliet balcony.
Kinopiastes is centrally located on the island and makes a wonderful base for enjoying the highlights Corfu has to offer. The sandy beaches of the west coast such as Agios Gordios & Pelekas are just a ten minute drive away. Corfu Town with it's historical centre is just a 15 minute drive away. There are lots of points of interest and suggested itineraries in the House Information File, such as Achilleion Palace where James Bond was filmed, Aqualand Waterpark and The Olive Museum in the village.
