Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Naldera. The views across Gouvia bay were stunning. The food in the local tavernas was well priced and delicious. Housekeeper Dimitra was lovely, extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. We were a party of 8 adults and the house was spacious enough to accommodate all of us without ever feeling crowded. It would have been helpful to have had written information in the villa on where to find local supermarkets, tavernas and beaches. There was only information on upscale restaurants in other parts of the island. We relied a lot on Google and Trip Advisor - and of course Dimitra. The garden of the villa is big and looked in need of some TLC. It was fairly overgrown, perhaps due it being the end of the season. The pool was stunning, although a multitude of loose tiles piled around the edge and in the garden made it feel a little uncared for. Having said all this, we would certainly love to go back!

Thank you for drawing to our attention that our Villa Information file wasn't available during your stay. Also extremely concered to read your comments about the garden and the pool tiles. I have spoken with the owner who is looking into these issues, there is a regular gardener who tends to the gardens and surrounding grounds on a weekly basis and he assures me your comments will be addressed. Glad to hear though that you enjoyed your stay, Villa Naldera really is a wonderful villa with the most magical views from the stunning pool.
