The Old Olive Press is as it's name implies a recently renovated olive press, the remnants of which can be found in the pretty gardens. This lovely renovated property is more than a holiday villa, it's a second home to its owners and this is apparent as you enter the front door. It's a lovely comfortable house with lots of character and with a really homely feel. There are three bedrooms in the eves on the first floor, one extremely large master bedroom with four poster bed and an en-suite shower room and a further two bedrooms one double and one twin, both of which share the newly renovated family shower room. Downstairs the comfortable sitting room with feature fireplace opens to a large farmhouse style kitchen with a central kitchen dining table. Off this room is a further sitting room which is used as a comfortable snug/TV room.
The house boasts a beautiful stone surround swimming pool set in a lawned garden. The pool area is full of character as it has been designed within the walls of the old Venetian olive press. Here there is a very large undercover veranda with a lovely dining table overlooking the pool and distant views of the sea.
The villa is set in a peaceful, rural location but yet in reality just a five minute drive down the lane brings you to the vibrant, cosmopolitan beach resort of Ipsos.

En-suite Bath Room to Master & family shower room.
Kitchen:
Fully fitted modern kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, overhead extractor fan, dishwasher and American style fridge/freezer.
Living Rooms:
Large Sitting Room with comfortable sofas, coffee table and open fireplace. TV room with comfortable sofa & Log burning stove.
Utility Facilities: Washing machine. Iron and ironing board is also available.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service: Towels & Linen are included and replaced midway through stays of 10 nights or more, although arrangements can be made for additional housekeeping, in house catering & welcome packs (recommended for late night arrivals).

Outside: Beautiful stone swimming pool set in lawns, pretty, well kept gardens. Undercover dining area, sun loungers with parasols, dining furniture seating 8 for alfresco dining and BBQ.
The cosmopolitan resort of Ipsos with its long narrow shingle beach and shallow waters attracts a multitude of ages. The resort itself has a great selection of both traditional and international restaurants running the long stretch of the promenade and on the beach a good choice of sunloungers and parasols to rent hosted by one of the many bars along the coastal road. It's a vibrant resort particulary during July & August and is the hub of nightlife for guests staying along the North East coast who are looking for a atmospheric evening out. During the day there are plenty of activities available Waterhoppers is one of the most popular diving centres in Corfu and for those looking for watersports and fun activies Ipsos Water Centre has some great family activies. Too many restaurants to mention but a firm favourite with us is Moby Dicks.
