'Well Appointed Little House'
The service from Prestige Villas was faultless. We very much enjoyed our two weeks at The Gardener's House. It's comfortable and well situated for visiting other parts of the island. There are also some more or less challenging local hikes you can do, including the Corfu Trail. The village itself has the nearby Achillion Palace, well worth a visit, and a couple of good tavernas as well as decent coffee bars to cater for the tourists who come to the Palace. As a downside we could mention the local mosquitoes, so take your tropical strength repellant or cover up!

'A slice of heaven'
The Gardeners House was an amazing place to stay; a beautiful property in a peaceful location and with an excellent Taverna in the village where we ate four times in the week we were there. The Garden was very pretty and the pool a bonus although not heated and very cold! It didn't matter to us but i wouldn't say that the pool is child friendly and there is no area to sit or sun bathe around it. The welcome pack was much appreciated and way above expectations. Everything you could need is at the house and it was a true home from home. I would go back in a heart beat! Many thanks to all at Prestige Villas for making it a perfect holiday!

'Gardeners House'
Really enjoyed our stay at Gardeners house. Prestige were easy to book through and communication when asking questions was quick and very helpful. The villa was clean light and very spacious. The gardens were well kept and lots of places to sit....loved the sunken table!! and the pool was well maintained. Would highly recommend but felt a car was a necessity.

'A piece of heaven in Corfu'
What a magical time we had at the gardeners house. Beautiful decor with great art pieces. Lovely and spacious. Comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms. Delightful garden with several decks and sparkling pool. We were swimming until late at night. Short walk to lefteris taverna very friendly owner and good food. A short drive to Benitses resort with lovely restaurants next to the sea. Happy memories that will last a lifetime. Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend the Gardeners House.

'Fabulous, would go back in an instant'
We loved the Gardeners House. It was a pleasure to return to every day, as it was a real home from home. The house had everything you could need, and more.
Loved that the Lefteris Taverna was on the doorstep, the bakery sold lovely bread but you had to get there early.
Prestige were superb and would highly recommend.

'Gardener's House Fabulous'
The Gardener's House was home from home and the best holiday house I have ever rented in terms of its overall feel and amenity. It is obviously a proper home with very tasteful décor and furnishings. I can't think of any improvement that could be made. We enjoyed sitting out on the roof terrace and reading etc and visits to the local villages & Benitses. I would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday. Be careful if you hire a boat in Benitses as there is a tendency to "overprice!" We also enjoyed the relative proximity to Corfu Town for more variety of restaurants etc.

We had a fabulous stay at the Gardeners House. It was perfect for our family of four. Our daughters loved the sun deck which had a parasol of the sun for too much and the pool was perfect! Lovely that it was cleaned 3 times each week. The house is furnished beautifully and we were still noticing different pieces of art on our last day! The bedrooms are air conditioned which is a blessing at night. The kitchen is so well equipped it was a pleasure to cook and we had some barbecues too - sitting at the sunken table was great fun! You will. Wes a small car as the driveway to the house is narrow. Lefteris taverna is a very short walk away and serves simple but good food. A short drive away is Benitses which is a busy resort - we loved exploring further afield and found some fabulous restaurants and stunning beaches which were never busy and always had plenty of sunbeds. We found each and every Corfiot we came across so very helpful. The island is beautiful, lush and green. We recommend Homers Boats in Messonghi for trips out on the sea and Jane and Annabelle at Prestige Villas were brilliant during our booking process and afterwards with any queries we had. We booked transfers from/back to the airport through the Prestige Villas website and our hire car was delivered and collected from the house by the lovely Yiannis and his lovely wife Jane. We even got an upgrade during our first week to the Jeep Jimny at no extra cost! My husband and kids still miss that car and we all miss Corfu and the Gardeners House - I have a feeling we will be back! Happy memories to keep us going through the winter :-) We all highly recommend the Gardeners House!

Had a most wonderful holiday at this beautiful home in June. The house is quite lovely full of creative touches with comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen and two balconies - one that catches the morning sun and one from which to watch it go down. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. The garden, meanwhile, is a little paradise - exquisitely planned and planted, a tranquil, secluded spot with many restful places to sit and always something new for the eye to see and linger over. Anna couldn't have been a kinder or more attentive host - ready to answer queries and help with her immense local knowledge. The village is unspoilt and traditional and the local people friendly and charming. If you like cooking with fresh, local ingredients there is no need to stir from the house. There is an old bakery close by selling the most gorgeous fresh crusty brown bread. Otherwise there are several tavernas just a stone\'s throw away selling the usual fare. The restaurant a little way from the Achilleon Palace sells delicious grapefruit and ginger lemonade and has wonderful views over the sea to Albania: a good place for a morning coffee or evening aperativo. The taverna 'To pouli tsi kotas' at the other end of the village is a real find. Authentic cuisine cooked fresh daily from the owners' garden and fresh fish from the sea. If you are lucky the owner, Spiros, a film actor who was in The Durrells, will serenade you with his guitar. Altogether can't recommend this more.

We had a wonderful time in gardeners house. The house is beautifully furnished with particular attention to all the details for the best comfort. And luxury for her guests, from fluffy white towels to soft comfy beds everything was spotlessly clean. As for the garden you can see the owner had put long hours into loving and caring for it with the beautiful flowers and little Solar fairy lights that came on at night.Making it look extra special for eating barbecues around the pool.

This is a superb house in a lovely quiet location. You need a car (small one for the small lane you have to drive down) unless you plan to stay in or get taxis as this is quite remote - 10 minute drive to the nearest tourist town of Benitses, 30 minutes to Corfu Town. The house is beautifully appointed. Great deck. Small but great pool. Gardener and pool man both visited whilst we were there. Unlike most rental houses, this one feels like you're staying in a home. Superb equipment for your use and art everywhere making it feel very cosy. Air con in the bedrooms is a welcome addition. The seclusion of the deck and pool made for great privacy too - not overlooked by neighbours and other tourists. All in all a fabulous place that I would definitely go back to.

From the minute we opened the door to the Gardeners House we knew this was going to be a fabulous holiday! The house is amazing and tastefully furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard. From the garden with its little nooks and crannies which is packed with interesting flora and fauna, to the unique outside dining area. Everywhere you look there\'s something new to admire. The pool is an added bonus and tastefully fits into this oasis of a garden. The owners have certainly lavished lots of love and attention on the Gardeners House. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you\'ll need but if you dont feel like cooking there's a taverna within walking distance which is open for breakfast through to midnight and beyond. The spacious bedrooms are a place of calm and relaxation with more than enough storage space. We loved the lounge with its comfy sofas. A great place to shelter from the sun and the "one-off" dining table easily seats 6 or more people. All in all, an absolute wonderful holiday. We'll be back!

When you drive up the small lane you arrive at the Gardeners House, you sense an awe of such a beautiful charming house, with ample parking. Its large double front doors and columns you sense a somewhat grand affair. But on entering, you realise this is a very welcoming cared for home. With the natural stone work and original flagged stoned floors you can tell the owners love this house and have really tried to capture the energy of the place. When walking though you can see to the back, and wow an enchanting garden with some where to eat, sunbathe and not overlooked, its like a little piece of heaven. The kitchen with its double fridges and 5 ring double cooker this house is a party house not a full on rave affair but a very refined one, you feel you could walk around in a kaftan all day. The bedrooms are very neat and comfortable, plenty of space for all your clothes, even the ones you don't wear!! We mainly used the large bathroom with views over the garden with its bright and airy feel. All the time you are living in a relaxed home with any excuse to chill. Would l stay again? Hell sure l would, l just need to get some more Kaftans

The Gardeners House is beautiful! So quiet and idyllic and tucked away, a treasure in Gastouri. The Achilleion Palace is a short walk away where the wonders of the beautiful palace await, and the view over Corfu to the sea is breathtaking. The Gardeners House has a beautiful garden area and pool, the sun decking is a 100% sun trap. Don't forget to take a G&T out onto the upstairs balcony as the sun goes down, a perfect end to a day. In the garden the outside dining area is unique a beautiful seating area that can hold at least 10 people, chilling and eating while other people enjoy the refreshing cool water of the pool. The local bus comes up to the main road but have a cold drink at Dimitris Taverna where they will always make you welcome. The house has 2 good size Bedrooms with plenty of storage and the showers are a fabulous size . You will leave this oasis refreshed and feeling like a local rather than a tourist. We went as a family of 4 our children are 11 & 14 the outside area at the front of the house is very safe, the girls were happy to sit on the steps reading in the late afternoon while we slept we knew they were safe as it's so quiet and strangers don't just wander up the windy drive so it feels very safe. A very enjoyable stay, highly recommended.
