The Hilltop Estate is not a house, it's an experience. It's a place where every day you discover something new - a new wonderful view of the sea or countryside, a new dish prepared by the extraordinary Spiros, a new CD that perfectly fills the pool area with wonderful music, a new book from Marina and Bruce's beautiful library. If none of the above impresses you, then let me add that the place is spotless, the staff amazing and the views out of this world. If you haven't yet reserved, hurry - Bellerbe fills very quickly, for all the right reasons. We would come back here any time.

Everything about our holiday as perfect. All the advance communication about the booking, our arrival and our eating and sleeping requirements were handled efficiently and promptly, with emails coming back almost immediately from the concierge. We had opted for the house's 5 star service and we certainly got it! A limousine was waiting to collect us at the airport, the very helpful concierge (who was also very good on recommending and booking everything from restaurants to scuba diving) was there to greet us at the house and show us around and made it very easy for us to settle in. The house was a dream - spacious, airy and beautifully decorated rooms and loads of outside terraces, all with absolutely stunning views over the sea etc. And we just loved the swimming pool, surrounded by huge olive trees and totally peaceful. The food was definitely five star (the chef prepared breakfast and dinner and shopped anything needed for us to do our own lunch) and the chef was able to prepare for us everything from delicious grilled fish and barbecued steaks to the most elaborate dishes that you might find in an upmarket London restaurant. The house is also brilliantly located on the island, close to beaches (but just far enough away from their noise!) and just 15 minutes drive from the beautiful Corfu Town with its shopping and buzzy restaurants. All in all, it was a perfect holiday .
