Villa Pelagos meaning 'of the sea' is named because of its spectacular 180 degree views, it is British owned and has only recently been completed. It is a great addition to our North East portfolio being in the heart of this stunning coastline in the hills above Nissaki and overlooking the pretty harbour below.
This light and airy villa is located above a quiet lane up a steep driveway, it's decorated and furnished in cool colours and has three bedrooms (Two Doubles + 1 Twin) all with contemporary en-suite bath/shower rooms and all enjoying the same breathtaking view of the sea through their French Windows. The master bedroom has a brand new top quality king-size bed.
Sleepy hamlet
This quiet place on the northeast coast of Corfu is laid out around a trio of coves, with sweeping views over to Albania. Nissaki comes with a clutch of shops and restaurants, and spreads up into the pine-covered foothills of Mount Pantokrator, Corfu’s highest peak. You’ll find some premium hiking trails if you can drag yourself away from the village’s old-world charm and relaxed beach.
A secluded beach
The narrow, horseshoe-shaped main beach is made up of white pebbles shelving gently into clear waters. You’ll always find a spot here, even at the busiest times, and there are plenty of sunloungers and parasols to rent. If you’re feeling adventurous you can snorkel around the nearby coves, or hire a boat to explore them.
Jaw-dropping walks
Behind the village, there are paths leading through the cypress-covered sides of Mount Pandokator – you could pack a picnic and wander off for the day. The 220-kilometre-long Corfu Trail, which winds around the island, passes through the valley behind Nissaki – you’ll get a stunning sea view if you head out along the steep coastal path towards the rocky coves of Katavolos.
Days out
From around 80 euros a day you can hire a speedboat and glide around the coastline. A popular destination is Agni, where there’s a pretty, pebbly bay backed by a trio of family-run tavernas. Or you can drive to Corfu Town in about 40 minutes. The island capital wears its Venetian architecture well, though there’s a distinctly Parisienne look to The Liston, an arcade of elegant cafés.

Nissaki is one, if not the most poplular areas on the whole of Corfu for villa holidays. Nissaki spreads itself along a three kilometre stretch of stunning coastline, encompassing numerous bays and small mountain hamlets. The harbour is the focal point of the area, with a selection of traditional tavernas located around the pretty harbour and immaculate pebbly beach. Here you will find the clearest water, a haven for snorkling. Miltos Restaurant is the built on the edge of the rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and the beach down by the harbour. It's the largest most popular taverna down in Nissaki where Agatha & Lakis and their family before them have been serving delicious home cooked food since 1955. Located on the coastal road you will find the well stocked Aphrodite Supermarket, a bakery, ATM machine and a little further along the road a small selection of tavernas. On the coastal road between Nissaki & the popular resort of Barbati, is the very popular waterfront restaurant 'Glyfa Taverna' Built on the rocks that lead down to the sea, the restaurant is on three levels with views across the sea towards Corfu Town. Anthoula does all the cooking and the staff here are extremely friendly. Lunch is served daily from 12 noon and dinner until 11pm. There are also sunbeds here for free.
- DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT ~ 26km
- DISTANCE TO BEACH ~ 2Km
- DISTANCE TO SUPERMARKET ~ 2km
- DISTANCE TO LOCAL TAVERNA ~ 2Km
- CAR HIRE ~ Essential

'Perfect Corfu Holiday Villa '
This Villa has everything you need for your stay. It has a view beyond what you can imagine, it is tucked away in the hills but still really close to everything.
The villa itself is very well stocked with everything you could need for cooking and eating and every thing is just so well thought out.
The design and build offers absolute comfort and privacy. The finish and furnishings are absolute luxury.
We were there for a week and loved every minute. Aphrodite, she closest shop, has every thing you need and I can recommend them as well.
But, as others have said. The initial drive up was an experience but well worth it for the view and the villa.

'Perfect Pelagos'
Beautiful villa in a fantastic location with breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!
The villa was really well equipped with everything we could need. Having a few welcome groceries was a nice unexpected surprise. There was even a bottle of chilled white wine in the fridge which we enjoyed on the terrace with lunch - perfect!
Would highly recommend.

'A beautifully presented villa, with spectacular views over the sea & to Corfu Town'
Everything was thought of, from face masks to a welcome package of food. Even the beach towels were provided which made packing easier.
The villa was so comfortable but stylish and clean. The infinity pool was such a treat- we all enjoyed leaning on the edge of the pool just admiring the views. We can’t wait to return!

'A Joy to Re-Visit'
This was our second holiday at Villa Pelagos and everything was just as wonderful as it was the first time! We enjoyed re-visiting our favourite places and tavernas as well as trying out some new ones. We hired a boat again for a day, this time spending a leisurely lunch in San Stephano. We love the pebble beach in Nissaki where the crystal clear, turquoise waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. This villa is an absolute joy to visit and I'm sure we will return for a third time very soon.

'Amazing Views'
Villa Pelagos has amazing views across the Bay to Corfu Town and has a lovely infinity pool that blends into this stunning view which we will remember through the cold English winter. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen is full of everything you could need, with a nice barbeque outside also. The Pool was cleaned regularly but the we had to make a special arrangement to have the Villa cleaned just once, due to the Covid-19 precautions in place on the Island. We used the company's own online shopping service to fill the fridge with food and drink which was there on arrival. The drive is very steep in places which was a problem the first time up with five people and suitcases in the car - everyone out! Once practised i didn't have any problems getting up and down over the two weeks.

Such a treat to back at beautiful Villa Pelagos, especially after all the uncertainty around the world this year. It was as comfortable, well-equipped and pristine as ever, and all the extra measures to ensure it was safe for guests and staff were much appreciated.
