Villas on the sea and just two minutes walk to a sandy beach and the nearest taverna are few and far between, hence why we were extremely excited to be given exclusivity on this fabulous property. 'Waterside' is a brand new 4 bedroom villa built to a high standard and will satisfy the most discerning of clientele.
The master bedroom occupies the whole of the top floor and is huge, with its wall to wall windows the view from your bed is wonderful. The master also has the added bonus of a large walk in closet and an en-suite bathroom again with a view. There are three further bedrooms (one double & two twins) on the ground floor and the added bonus of a small studio by the pool (on request) which is suitable for a member of staff (nanny, driver, cook). The living area with it's open plan kitchen and dining area is on a slightly lower level, it has wall to wall glass doors which open out onto a beautiful stone patio/veranda with pergola for shade.
The large infinity style swimming pool is set in stone where we have sun loungers and parasol. There is an undercover stone BBQ and kitchen area by the pool which is perfect for waterside dining and evenings can be spent under watching the sunset over the yachts in the marina and one can enjoy the array of wild bird life.
Boasting an enviable position on the Kontokali Bay Peninsular, the property is sat right on the water and overlooks Gouvia Marina, home to some of the Ionians, if not the Worlds, most prestigious Motor Yachts. The Villa is situated in a quiet residential area, a perfect choice for guests looking for a central location, with the added advantage of being just a couple of minutes walk to a great sandy beach and a selection of waterfront restaurants. Five minutes around the bay will bring you into Gouvia Village with its choice of International Restaurants and cafe/bars. In additional it's less than a ten minute drive to the Historical Town of Corfu with its maze of narrow streets and piazza squares.
